Tjorn features elongated, heavy teardrops,
with a swooping design first seen in the Flight
pattern by Oneida. There's no other comparison betwen the two
patterns, though. Tjorn is well worth the extra money, given
its far superior knife blade, much heavier weight, and its unbendable
handles.
One feature that's difficult to see in the
photos is the more dramatic curvature of the fork tines and spoon
bowls. It's a feature that's very comfortable to eat with, and
is also found in other Scandinavian-inspired designs like Hafnia
by Yamazaki.
Tjorn is one of our favorite flatware patterns,
and our former warehouse manager Aaron picked this pattern for
his home, out of the over 500 patterns we carry.
