The 500 sterling frame features a beaded interior border with wide spacing between each one. It's a fairly recent trend also found in Vera Wang and Ricci designs.

Cunill frames are constructed of a single piece of sterling silver to create a smooth, seamless appearance, avoiding visible seams and corners which appear in other frames. They are coated with lacquer to prevent tarnish.

The easel back are made of imported African hardwood, and is treated with 8 coats of varnish to achieve a smooth, shiny finish, and to protect the frames from damage and warping over the years.
