About Zanetto
for Reed and Barton:
Reed and Barton
debuted the Zanetto Silver Collection in late 2003, featuring
some of the most beautiful silverplated holloware available today.
Previously, the serveware category had been dominated by smooth,
aluminum alloy with contemporary styling. Zanetto holloware continues
the trend for more contemporary silver home furnishings, while
offering a unique twist on the traditional hammered manufacturing
technique. With the use of deep silverplating, Zanetto has given
the objects a lustre that cannot be replicated with any other
metal.
Reed and Barton has always
been known for their high quality silver items, and continues
to manufacture fine traditional silverplated items, such as Tea
Sets, Trays, Bowls, Barware, Punch Sets and more. For the Zanetto
Collection, Reed and Barton enlisted the help of the well-respected
Italian designers Bernardo and Enrico Zanetto to design and manufacture
the silverplated creations. The result is a unique marriage of
contemporary European design and traditional standards of the
finest quality in manufacturing.
