(Pronounced: reh-pooh-ZAY).
Named after the art of repousse (meaning 'raised in relief'),
originally used in European silversmithing. Typically the relief
design is achieved by pressing through the back of the item,
but the Repousse sterling flatware pattern is flat on the reverse
side.
Repousse was first manufactured
in 1828, and is similar to another pattern made by Kirk Stieff,
Stieff
Rose.

What is the difference
between a
Place Setting and a Dinner Setting?
The only difference is the size of
the main fork and knife, which is slightly larger in the dinner
size. Below are the measurements for this pattern:
Place Fork: 7-1/4"
Place Knife: 8-7/8"
Dinner Fork: 7-3/4"
Dinner Knife: 9-3/4"
