R&B Everyday New Stainless Steel Flatware by Reed & Barton |

|
Reed & Barton is one of the premier sterling silver and stainless steel flatware manufacturers in the world, and have created a line of "everyday" flatware at lower prices to reach customers who top out at about $80-100 for a complete set of silverware. So what's the tradeoff between a R&B Everyday
pattern and a Reed & Barton stainless pattern? These patterns
are made in 18/0 stainless steel (no nickel content), so they
won't appear as "silvery" as an 18/10 pattern would
after a number of years in the dishwasher. The knife is also
made out of one piece of steel, and the blade is serrated for
easier cutting. More expensive patterns have a 2-piece knife
construction with a sharper knife blade inserted into the handle.
If that's important to you, then you might consider a Reed &
Barton pattern. If not, enjoy the savings of R&B Everyday! |
