Old Denmark is one of the finest examples
of upscale Scandinavian designs, featuring a brushed finish,
very heavy weight, rounded handles, and premium 18/8 quality.
It's really a Scandinavian design, but it
has many of the features we commonly associate with "Colonial"
design, such as three-tine forks, the brushed finish, and the
Old French style knife blade (this is the only stainless pattern
with that type of knife style).
This is by far the best example of the style,
which was first seen in 1981. There are some similar patterns
you might also like, such as Easton
by Oneida, Perspective
by Reed & Barton, and Pearl
Platinum by Lenox.
