Much like 18/10 flatware, 18/8 flatware is some of the highest quality in the industry. The 18/8 stainless steel flatware brands we offer are Noritake, Oneida, and Yamazaki. When we talk about 18/8 flatware, we're referring to the chromium and nickel content, which contributes to the flatware's ability to combat rust and have a shiny finish -- thus making it stainless steel. That means 18/8 flatware contains 18% chormium and 8% nickel.
It's important to note, however, that there are no significant differences between 18/10 flatware and 18/8 flatware. For the most part, you can't go wrong with either selection. To learn more about these quality differences in flatware, click here.
