What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

This new silverware set far exceeds my expectations! They are beautiful! They have a nice weight to them; but not too heavy. The design is really nice. I love that it came with a serving set as well! These are going to provide many years to f use. Thanks for an amazing product!
They look very nice. For a medium to large male hand the small fork and spoon are a little too narrow. There are some lengthwise scratches that came with them out of the box. For the price point I the initial impression is great. Hope they won’t rust at this price point but the little scratches could be a challenge for that, cross your fingers.
Product has a good weight. Came polished and well protected. Good quality and has a life time warranty. Forks are not overly sharp. Knifes cut well. Product was howervrr s little pricey. But over all worth the money.
Very high quality flatware as advertised. This is a short term review after a few dishwashing cycles. All of my forks, spoons and knives look the same as on day 1.
It's a nice set for a small family. Unique design, material is shining as a mirror. But I do have found a scratch on the back of the serving spoon (the biggest spoon) and blemishes on the handles of two soup spoons. Because of these, I took 1 star off. Other than those, it's a nice and quality set.
