What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

This is the 10th year that my family has been using our Beam set. Its quality has remained the same after all these years of everyday use. I love the feel and weight of these flatwares. I'm on this site to fill my set as many years of use have made some pieces disappear. I am happy to complete my set and excited to use it for another 10 years - maybe 20
My family truly enjoys this flatware set. I will purchase this again and send it as a gift to others, the quality and price is fantastic.
We have loved our Beam flatware. It has served us well. We love the simple contemporary lines and the finish. The weight and balance of this flatware is just perfect and rather than try to select a new set, we decided to add to our current set to replace some missing pieces.
