What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

Part of Ricci's Botticelli Satin collection, this pattern debuted in 2008 as a fresh interpretation of traditional satin flatware. Instead of a standard brushed finish, Botticelli features a frosted satin surface accented by polished outlined floral motifs along the handle, creating subtle contrast and a more decorative, luxurious look, with rounded handles, very heavy weight, and superior balance throughout the collection. The pattern was discontinued by the manufacturer at the end of 2014.
The rounded continental handle provides a comfortable, balanced grip, while the solid bowl design allows for clean, polished serving from formal dinners to weekend brunches. As a discontinued pattern, remaining pieces are especially desirable for collectors, replacement purchases, and those completing an existing Botticelli Satin hostess set.
