What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

Beautiful full set great for everyday use and entertaining. Has everything you could need for daily use and entertaining. Great value! Love the character of the classic modern feel and the little touches with the extra serving set.
I bought a set of flatware that was service for 8 about 4 years ago. They still look brand new. I needed to add to them in order to have bigger parties so I just bought another set. They are classic, heavy and elegant

Nice solid silverware set. The weight of the pieces makes them feel like high quality items and they do not bend and have held up nicely through many washes so far. Like another review I read here, I did receive one spoon with a significant scratch on it but did not want to return the whole set over that one piece. Perhaps I'll try and send it in for a replacement or I wouldn't be surprised if someone from customer service testing this will reach out to me about what to do to get a replacement sent to me (because I have found their customer service to be very responsive and helpful). Overall, good set, good price, good quality. Highly recommend.
I love this set. It balances nicely on the hand. I bought an old antique silverware box and remade it to fit this set to put these inside. Highly recommend.
