What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

The Opus Satin 20pc Service for 4 by Zwilling features a gently curved handle design, which offers perfect balance, lustrous finish and European styling. Zwilling is far better known for their premier level of kitchen cutlery, but they make a great effort here to put themselves into the mid-range premium flatware market. These patterns are better quality than the ones you'll find at big-box retailers, but not quite as good as the upscale silver department patterns. That's a good thing, since these patterns are priced for value, and we highly recommend them if the designs appeal to you.

I really like the simple, yet elegant design of the Satin Opus flatware line. It has a solid feel without being flashy or gaudy. It looked great on my holiday table, has a nice feel "in hand", and worked well at its intended use of getting food off the plate and into my mouth.
