What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

The Fortessa Savoy gold plated stainless steel flatware pattern is both simple and elegant. Savoy Gold features a nice accent with a bead border along the teardrop shape of the handle leaving the main stem plain. The knife, however, featured this design along the entire handle. Savoy Gold flatware is the type of pattern that is casual enough to use everyday but has the right amount of flair to bring out for special occasions.
Each of the spoons and forks will include the Fortessa insignia logo on the front of the pieces. They also say "Fortessa" stamped on the back. The knives have a parallel stamp on the blade.
