What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

The Scalini Table Spoon by Fortessa measures 8.63". The Fortessa Scalini stainless steel flatware pattern is a contemporary design with simple embellishments at both the neck and base end of each handle. Another feature that makes Scalini stand out from our flatware patterns is the shape of the bowl on each spoon. The spoons in the Scalini flatware pattern are not as round as most others; the end of each bowl is more straight than curved.
The Tablespoon is stamped on the front with the Fortessa insignia logo and on the back it is stamped "Fortessa".
