What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

It's too early to give a review, but while cleaning the new knives, I sliced my finger without even noticing it because they were that sharp. My wound skin sticking well, healed well and quickly because of the clean cut. I am satisfied.
When I opened the box and looked at the wood block it was beautiful! It will definitely look good on my kitchen counter. The weight and balance of each knife is wonderful. I have never spent this much money on knifes but I’m glad I splurged.
MY family has been using Henckels for a long time! Finally got our own set as a wedding present and the knives never disappoint. However, the wood block has a good size crack on the top of it. But warranty claims are extensive and not worth going through.
The knives are super sharp and very easy to handle. The sharpening steel the set comes with is a great addition to help maintain the knives in top condition and as sharp as possible. Cutting vegetables and meats is a lot easier now. The built quality is superb. Very happy with the purchase and will be buying the Pro set of steak knives soon.
I got this for our new mountain home and love the color or the block. Matches our decor very nicely. Needless to say, we love the knives. Sharp and feel really comfortable in teh hand. This is my favorite of all the Henckels chef knives I've owned over the decades. I like the curve of this blade a little more compared to previous models (which were a little flatter). This knife helps rock through food a little easier. The utility knife and paring knife aren't much different in size so maybe the utility knife could be a little bigger (it seems a little redundant). That's nitpicking thought. This is a beautiful set.
My husband and I received these knives from our registry and it was the best thing we could’ve asked for! These knives are absolutely incredible quality, and we love the matching steak knives. They are perfect for us, as we love to cook.
Knife set is so amazing, this set is made in Germany. Cuts so easily, really happy with this purchase! Would recommend to anyone contemplating on purchasing. Buy them will not regret!
