Lenox Butterfly Meadow Stainless Flatware
What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

I have many pieces of Butterfly Meadow and this setting is as pleasing as everything else I've bought. The previous reviewer stated that the negative on this was being too heavy. I find that ridiculous! Yes they have more weight to them because they're a nicer set than you'd perhaps buy at a discount type store! But this setting is certainly useable by anyone in my opinion. They wash great in the dishwasher too.
I have been using these now for two weeks and I am extremely happy with them. They are beautiful and a nice weight without being heavy. Very well-made and I highly recommend them.
