What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

I had been searching for years for flatware made in the U.S.A. Customer service was outstanding and the Champlin pattern is perfect for our family. Diswasher perfect, great quality, very reasonable price. Thank you for offering a much needed product unavailable in most high-end stores!
Absolutely a beautiful set. We ordered the 65pc Services and have had it 2-3 months. It is holding up extremely well. We have gotten so many complements as our guest have used it. I plan on ordering a set for each of my children when they finish college. Made in the USA was a plus.
