What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

I just bought this flatware set and I’m super happy with the quality of the product. The smooth satin finish enhances the design value of this flatware set. We absolutely love this flatware. The design is beautiful and we’re obsessed with the knives. Not only do they look cool as part of a place setting, but they lean on a plate really nicely so we don’t have to dirty table linens placing the knife down or worrying about it falling off the plate when not in use.

I was looking for a set to replace a low quality Onieda set I got for Christmas and am much happier with this Zwilling Bellasera set. High quality, looks classy, and feels “right” holding them. I have the knives and figured the flatware would be of the same quality, I wasn't wrong.
