What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

As part of a years of service gift from my company, I ordered this set via a third party seller. I’m very pleased with the set. Great design, finish and quality. What caught me by surprise was the utility knife. The handle design is different so it will be to your preference. Adding pictures.
This was the second time I’ve purchase the same exact flatware for my kitchen. They are absolutely beautiful with their sleek modern look. Easy to clean due to the design and keep up to everyday wear and tear. I will not is any other silverware in my house.
Just received this European inspired product. Very nice quality so far. I love that the knives “stand” up. And the extra hostess set is a nice plus! Very classy details to the sugar spoon and slotted serving spoon!
The fact that the knife can stand on its own does the trick for me. The rest is pretty standard but I’m not mad.
I chose zwilling because I could easily add more sets whenever I want due to its steady inventory and classic appearance. And the customer service is very reliable and prompt.
