What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

beautiful
These have been my favorite glasses for a decade. It was time to add a few more.
Love them!
Great looking and nice to use. HOWEVER, as others have commented the glasses are more fragile than they used to be. It does seem like they have thinner glass. We still have old ones, but have broken several in a new set. Since they make it cheaper, they should replace at least one glass per set.
I bought these before and they were much heavier and the etching more pronounced. These are clearly cheapened and show that. Not the Mikasa quality i used to love.
The bottoms are weighted and made a beautiful gift!
