What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

I absolutely love and appreciate the quality, design and weight. I don't recall ever noticing the flatware while a guest anywhere yet my Portola set is continuously complimented by both men and women.
Feels substantial. Very pretty. I have had it for about a month, use it daily, and run it through the dishwasher. It's pretty enought to use for a fancy table setting, but also great for every day.
I knew this set would be nice because it was from Lenox. But, it is absolutely gorgeous. Mirror finish and elegant. Makes the table look so special.
I love this flatware set! No issues for now. I've had it for about a month. Kids love it. It goes in the dishwasher. Matches everything.
I've been looking for the right size and weight flatware set for my large hands. Needless to say I found it; I'm so happy.
Awesome flatware. Very heavy duty. Extremely pleased. My son thought it was new "good stuff" which, of course, it is.
