What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

This 45-piece set is absolutely beautiful! The shine is brilliant, the quality is outstanding, and the 5-piece serving set is unlike any I have ever seen. The pieces are nicely balanced and have a little weight to them...but not too much. I love my Henckel knives and the flatware is made to the same high standard. Highly recommended!

Saw this set at a friends house and knew I wanted it for myself. She said they’d had it for years, but it looked brand new to me. My husbands always picky when it comes to flatware, but once he held it, it didn’t take much convincing for us to buy two sets. Looking forward to using on Thanksgiving.
