What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

I love this flatware. They are well balanced, light and comfortable in your hands, and beautiful!
My wife loves the pattern on this set. The pieces are more like when we were kids, not overaized like some of the more modern styles. However, we are not even 2 weeks into using this set and already I am seeing staining on the knife blades. Makes me wonder if this is really 18/10.
I am very pleased with the flatware that I purchased. I was looking for something similar to what I was using and this fit the bill. A setting for 12 fits well for family gatherings.
